  Synchronously read from a resource ID (rid) into an array buffer (buffer).

  如果没有要读取的内容，返回值为操作期间读取的字节数，或者文件结尾（Symbol（EOF））。

  Returns either the number of bytes read during the operation or End Of File (Symbol(EOF)) if there was nothing to read.
